Mission:The Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design is a Masters’ program hosted at the University of Stuttgart and Ain Shams University in Cairo. It trains and prepares a new generation of urban practitioners to face the tremendous environmental, cultural, socio-economic and governance challenges resulting from the dynamic urban transformation around the globe.

dear everyone, who is interested in the IUSD program,
due to the fact that the application portal is closing on February 15th 2016, please check carefully the following notes:
You can study the IUSD program as a double degree at the University Stuttgart and at the Ain Shams University Cairo.
Alternatively you can study the IUSD program as a single degree at the Ain Shams University Cairo or at University Stuttgart.
At our website www.iusd.uni-stuttgart.de in the section Programs, you can find a description of these three possibilities. The tabs do not only contain program description but also the list of requirements.

The application for a single degree is not linked automatically to a scholarship.
The double degree is linked with the EPOS program of DAAD.
You can only study IUSD DD as a scholarship holder.
Please note that for the EPOS scholarships holders a working experience of at least two years is required.
To the applicants:
In case you are applying for the IUSD double degree program, did you have correctly applied to both universities - University Stuttgart and Ain Shams University Cairo and have sent your EPOS application documents via e-mail to epos@iusd.uni-stuttgart.de? This has to be done before the application deadline, February 15th 2016.
in general: if you have not uploaded your application documents, do not forget to do so before February 15th 2016, as the portal is closing by that day.
